The Japanese would probably call that a "shino" glaze... it's a nice jar.
I sincerely wish that all potters in the world would realize that it's important to identify their work properly!!! (Artists, too).
Sometimes, they really believe that their work is so unique that the style will identify it, but obviously, this is not the case.
It's fun to decipher these, but sometimes it's a real time-waster...
