Russel Wright

This is a Russel Wright Klise Frosted Oak table lamp with an S-shaped design. The lamp still has its original Frosted Oak finial, but the shade is not original. The art deco figure in the foreground is a Sally Rand nude made by Vernon Kilns (she is kneeling, not missing the lower half of her legs). The pottery in the background is Trenton. The piece at the bottom right is a plaster maquette called Pelican and Her Piety by Alphonso Iannelli. The final sculpture was used as an inset in a church pulpit in Michigan City, Indiana. Iannelli was the sculpture who worked with Frank Lloyd Wright on the sprites for Midway Garden. He was also a Chicago industrial designer who designed the iconic half-round Sunbean toaster.

Yowsa!
How rare do lamps get? This is very exciting to see.
Klise Lamp
This lamp is absolutely great! Is the replacement shade similar to the original for this lamp? I like this shade a lot.
