I'm guessing that's substantially more
than Scott paid for his. But I would imagine the seller may be willing to accept an offer that's quite a bit lower.

I don't know what a reasonable price is for this Red Wing piece but my first impression of the buy-it-now price was that is was outrageously high. There's a precedent for this buy-it-now price however. Check out completed ebay auction 35004792697 for the same vase in a different glaze -- it sold for a "best offer" price of $425.

Yes, that buy it now price is at the top end of the spectrum. Prices for Murphy's Red Wing Decorator pottery series have cooled in the past several years. I believe that I paid around $125 for the piece that I own, but I've seen them sell for as high as $495. $655 is really trying to max it out.
