Charles Murphy designed this compote (or planter) for Red Wing's exciting Decorator pottery line in the early 1960s. It is marked M3017, measures 5-inches high by 13.5-inches wide and has a beautiful crystalline green glaze. Here it is, all decked out for winter, with a bounty of pine combs.
