Charles Murphy designed this soaring compote for Red Wing's Decorator pottery line in the early 1960s. It measures 12-inches high by 12-inches wide and has a breathtaking crystalline green glaze. I love using it to hold pine cones during the winter or dried flowers in the summer--the compote's leafy, surface treatment and foamy glaze are a perfect complement.
