Red Wing

This exceptional vase was designed by Charles Murphy for Red Wing's Decorator pottery line. It's marked M3012, measures 10.5-inches high and has a speckled sand glaze (which was not part of the Decorator line).

I really like this piece. I have the same vase with a slightly different glaze. It is not speckled but is the same color with some much lighter drip glazing in a few spots. I'll photograph it so you can see.

I was just looking at your vase in the photo competition section. Your vase has the one of the official crystalline glazes and was part of the Decorator line. My vase has a non-crystalline, speckled glaze, so that means that it was sold as an alternative to the Decorator line.
