The Red Wing Futura teapot is one of my favorite MCM dinnerware shapes. I love the overall proportion and stylish lines but the playful finial and tip-of-the-hat sweep of the spout put the design over the top. Charles Murphy was one talented guy. Tampico strikes me as a perfect pattern for summer. The heat index has been over 100 here so it's easy to appreciate this cool and colorful pattern today. Thank you.
