Centerpiece(s)

 I don't use my dining room table (often).  It is becoming filled with things I've found.  

From left to right:  
Glidden vase (marked Glidden 40);  
Bowl marked RC2 USA (this is a hyalyn piece from the Rachel Carr collection even though it is not marked or stickered);
Sascha Brastoff centerpiece bowl (marked Sascha Brastoff 061 on bottom and Sascha B in gold script on the piece);
black ball vase marked L26 USA with a "Les Arts, Jacksonville, Fla." sticker on the bottom (I think that this is a Lax design possibly by hyalyn but I am aware that the jury is out on that one);
hyalyn figural bear marked hyalyn 422 (the 422 is written in pen over a crossed-out 425).  Every other hyalyn bear I've seen (3) have had the same pen-marked correction.

Rachel Carr

I love the Rachel Carr bowl and its beautiful matte glaze. Did she do many pieces for Hyalyn?

These are all great pieces. I especially like the Sascha Brastoff centerpiece bowl and the Hyalyn bear is fun.

Michael Lax

I've seen that ball vase shape attributed to Michael Lax several times, but can't remember ever having seen hard documentation. It's a great piece, though!

The Sascha Brastoff pedestal bowl is fantastic! It looks like it has a Middle Eastern influence. Do you know if this was a source of inspiration for the designer?
