I am going to have to rely on memory here, but I recall reading on the viking art glass website that this jewelry tree was made for only one year (1969). It is a substantial heavy piece. I found it at a thrift store in Atlanta.

Not Viking, but rather made by L.E.Smith as shown on page 241 of "L. E. Smith Glass Co. - the First One Hundred Years - Hoistory, Identification, and Value Guide" by Tom Felt, copyright 2007. It is No. 4250 Moon and Star Jewel Tree. Circa 1980.
Interesting. When was this
Interesting. When was this produced, Brad? BTW, I like the juxtaposition/background. Nice.
Viking Jewelry Tree

The jewelry tree is sitting on top of a bowl. The bush outside the window is called a variety of things: Chaya, Xia, Tree Spinach ( http://toptropicals.com/cgi-bin/garden_catalog/cat.cgi?uid=Cnidoscolus_c... ). It blew down today in a storm.
