Here's a group of three Metlox California Free Form serving bowls. Their mid-century design is a perfect marriage of pattern and shape.

I'm completely hooked by this Metlox pottery and your photo is fantastic. The arrangement of the serving pieces has allowed me to see the relationships between the shapes more clearly. I agree that the shape and pattern are a perfect styling marriage. For some reason, I hadn't appreciated the connection between the shape of the handle vegetable dish and the smaller section of the twin vegetable before. Thank you!
