American pottery & dinnerware (production)

Staccato

Just acquired a 1978 brochure & price list for the Temper-Ware line by Lenox® from the late 1970s. Items in this line included:

Plates: dinner, salad, butter
Cup & Saucer
Grand Mug
Bowls: Soup/cereal, fruit
Casseroles: Individual Casserole with lid, Round Casserole with Lid, Oval Casserole
Oval Roaster/Platter
Rectangular Baker/Server (15")
Fondue
Warmer Stand and Burner
Sauce Boat
Coffeepot with lid
Sugar Bowl with lid
Cream Pitcher
Salt & Pepper Mill

The cups have a boxy handle and are items all very 70s in form. I find a few patterns in this line interesting including Silhouette and Percussion, in addition to Staccato.

I have found a couple of Lenox Temper-Ware pieces while thrifting and have been impressed with the design and quality. The weight of the plates especially feels "right".
