Hull House Kilns

This creamer and sugar set was designed and produced at the Hull House Kilns in Chicago sometime in the 1930s. You can see the matching teapot in another photo that I posted.

These Hull House Kilns pieces are very interesting. I like the handmade look and the handles on this sugar and creamer. The orange glaze on these two pieces is compelling. If you hadn't mentioned that the rustic look was obtained by hand pressing the clay into the molds, I wouldn't have guessed that molds were used. Nice!
