What a wonderful pattern! I'll guess it was made by Wallace China.
Shenango. [Manannan's Playground]. Pattern attributed to Paul Cook. 1965. This pattern has been [unofficially] named by Bonnie Howard, who correctly identified the manufacturer in MODish.net's April 2004 Quiz. Bonnie writes: Manannan mac Lir is the Irish god of the sea. They named the Isle of Man after him, so why not a lovely pattern? I thought of using Sedna (the Inuit sea goddess), but they just named a whole *planet* after her.
