Fish plate
Dear Gayle,
It looks very much like some Danish fish "trivits" that I have... is it ceramic? My trivits are made of metal, same colors, same style but not exactly the same design.

A ceramic company in Finland.If you search Ebay,there is one up for bid right now,although marked.I've never seen an unmarked item from Arabia before.Very nice.Sue
Fish Plaque
I have a piece that is identical in shape w/a different color (a grayish blue-green) and different pattern. The one I have looks a lot like a flounder. The piece is marked: Arabia Made in Finland 5-66 (date?)
The only dates I've seen on Arabia
are on some of their art pottery pieces that are also artist initialed,and usually the date is simply the year. You should post a picture in International ,tennebrac.I'd be interested in seeing it.Arabia has some beautiful stuff,I'm a big fan.
