Eva Zeisel Riverside China

These goblets or tumblers could easily be mistaken for a vase but they do have a lovely feel when grasped in one's hand. The two on the left seem to be made out of a porcelain body. The white one at far left seems to have been left white with just a clear glaze--it is highly transluscent. The second from the left has a very interesting and seemingly thick glaze and feels quite a bit heavier than the others, it is less transluscent. It is also the only one of the four with the rounded bottom found on some of the Riverside pieces. The third from left has a light blue body where the color is part of the body itself. The one at the right has a sort of avocado green on the outside with a light yellow interior. I have a broken cup in the same the same color scheme and there is a clear layer of green with a layer of yellow next to it--the color is in the body itself. The two on the right I believe are on a fine earthenware body--they are not transluscent.

Absolutely astounding
Rare to find one in any color, any condition. Unbelievable to have four colors. Absolutely astounding. Very interesting about porcelain vs earthenware.
