Don Jensen's Friends

Don Jensen's Friends create pottery plates in Sedona.

Hi all,

I had an acquaintance in Sedona who was a very good artist and potter, named Don Jensen.  He took his pottery very seriously, even travelling to Japan to study with Shoji Hamada.

One year he invited other great potters from the midwest, specifically Minnesota and Wisconsin, to visit and do some pottery workshops here.  These plates are as a result of that idea... unfortunately, Don died without leaving any records of the event, and his friends didn't sign the plates... they painted their own portraits on them, front and back.

I'm posting these to see if anybody recognises the work!
