I recently acquired an Artware catalog entitled California Ceramic Creations, Evan K. Shaw Co. In the lower right-hand corner it reads: Poppytrail. The American Style in Artware. Metlox. The catalog features Art Treasures of the World. Mosaic Originals, Tropicana Tropical Fish and Pineapple, among more traditional items. What's really interesting is the fact that I got to see bios and photos of Metlox's well-known designers and information on another person I knew nothing about. Here is the bio info:
