mccormickstudio wins the MODish.net Photo Competition. The entry, featuring Marshall Studios stoneware, displays a creative arrangement of dishes in an upper box with those same dishes filled with sushi and sauce in a lower box punctuated with chop sticks. The photo received six 5-star votes, making it the clear winner. For this winning entry, mccormickstudio will receive an o.group Zeisel photographic store catalog circa 1999, a veritable treasure trove of color photos displaying some of Zeisel's later production. mccormickstudio is the web founder and creator of Marshall Studios, a premier educational site dedicated to Marshall Studios stoneware.

atomicscott captures second place and four 5-star votes with his Fun Stuff photo of his workplace. The photo featured some of atomicscott's workplace inspirations: a couple Charles Murphy's vases by Red Wing, a mid-century ceramic fish, and a photo showing Eva and Russel together.

Recently I've found quite a bit of Marshall Studios at a local thrift store. This place setting in one of my favorite patterns and is called "Centron."

Many shapes were modified and used together at Marshall Studios to create new pieces. In the case of this casserole, a footed bowl doubles as a lid for the casserole.

A good find: This is the handmade tile address plaque from the Home Accent Shop at Marshall Studios - the shop connected to the studio where they sold their wares.

Easter Supper on Marshall Studios Ecumenical Ware. This is a group of ecumenical ware, designed to serve as communion trays, chalices, etc.

This is the largest Martz Marshall Studios pot. I saw it in someone's yard at their garage sale and with great finesse (aka cash), talked them out of it.
